IBRIMS (Image Based Road Information Collection and Management System)
Our Image Based Information Management system has been developed by us from scratch. The system collects location-based road data (highway, freeway, and street), thus allows efficient and accurate analysis and management of:









By using our mobile mapping system, you can collect panoramic footage and road inventory data of any highway transportation network. Traffic signs, signaling equipment, tunnels, bridges, facilities are recorded with their locations and features. All the anticipated features of the road by region and province, and branch-based examination, reporting, inventory status, need analysis, maintenance and repair follow-up can easily be obtained by our system. Departments of transportation and authorities can share all location-based data from our system with all of its employees and other relevant departments to efficiently manage road and infrastructure projects.
Biggest Project of its kind in Europe
Our system was first used in Europe. The scope of our first project was mapping Turkey’s 67200 km long highway transportation network with panoramic footage and collecting road inventory data using our mobile mapping system. This was the biggest project of its kind in Europe in the field of Intelligent Traffic Management Systems due to its size.
The Mobile Mapping System
The mobile mapping system we developed has five major components. Commercially available components have been put on a vehicle in a most efficient way and then the entire system has been calibrated and integrated to collect precise road data for mobile mapping. The components of our system are:
- 360-degree Camera: 360-degree 30-megapixel panoramic camera collects high resolution panoramic images of the route every 5 meters.
- Road Profile Scanner (Road Profiler): Road profiler collects 1M (one million) points per second, to produce a transverse and longitudinal profile data with a precision of 3mm per second
- LiDAR Scanning System: With the LiDAR scanning system, which collects 1.2 M points per second, point cloud data with a width of 100 meters of the road route is produced.
- GNSS, IMU and Odometer: After the data coming from the GNSS, IMU and odometer devices are processed, the data generated with the accurate location and rotational information are coordinated.
- Tunnel Camera: In order to display the tunnel details more clearly, data collection can be carried out from the field by using the tunnel camera.

The Information Management Software (ATLANT™)
We develop ATLANT TM, our web-based software to process and manage collected road data that also has mobile application. The software is easily adjustable for your own needs depending on your road and transportation network projects. Based on the City or Municipality we will develop project or network specific web and mobile application software. Once the collected data processes and uploaded to our web-based software you will have the entire road or network under your fingertips with the high-resolution panoramic images which will allow you to conduct variety of analysis such as:

Area, distance, height and coordinate measurements

The slope map and road profile graphics of any selected route in your network,

Updating the road inventory online and offline in your mobile application software,

Checking the status of the inventory such as traffic signs, lighting pole flashers, intersections and crossings on a specific road or route in any city and region or any part of the project network as well as number and condition of other inventories such as guardrails, shoulders, rumble strip and pavements,

Calculation of the total number of bridges, intersections, viaducts and pockets in any province,

Calculation of number of variable message signs, flashers, speed warning devices and signs, signaling and traffic signs,

Displaying the road project sheets put into the traffic system by scanning in their respective positions.
